Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado (North Academy)

Status: Full-Time

Job Grade: Non-Exempt

Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare loan documentation and provide servicing of loans. Assist Business Relationship Officer (BRO) and other Loan Operations team members as needed to insure excellent Guest service and compliance with lending requirements. Scan and file loan documentation and clear technical exceptions. Follow all policies and procedures. Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential Guests and other financial institutions. Assist lending staff in reporting function and management of the loan portfolio.

  • Follow all established policies and procedures and maintain compliance with all lending regulations
  • Scan and file loan documentation

  • Assist BRO as needed
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with team members and provide assistance as needed
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential Guests and insure excellent Guest service at all times
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with other financial institutions
  • Assist lending staff in reporting function and management of the loan portfolio

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 2 – 3 years bank lending experience or equivalent education in banking procedures and policies

Skills:

  • Basic working knowledge of commercial loans
  • Extensive background in consumer lending regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret loan documents as well as Bank regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Flexibility to assist at other locations as needed
  • Ability to communicate orally in an effective manner both in person and over the telephone with Guests and co-workers
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with Guests and co-workers
  • Professional personal appearance and attitude
  • Good typing/word processing and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Attention to detail
  • Good proof reading and editing skills
  • Analytical ability
  • Understanding of basic statistics
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Problem-solving ability

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Position takes place in an office environment
  • Position may require some overtime or flexibility in hours to meet Guest needs
